2008

The Wave House in Laguna Beach, California was informed by a steep slope with views of the Pacific Ocean, the requirements of an active family with three children, and the clients’ love for the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. The organic forms of Gaudi’s work and the challenging 40’ grade change of the topography inspired  a house design composed of curvilinear forms cascading down the site with three levels that follow the terrain and capture dramatic ocean views.
